Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer as well as a human rights advocate and philanthropist. As a graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her years of experience and accomplishments within the field of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. Her most prominent clients include many nation states, among them Armenia and its efforts to have the Turkish Government recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a well-known name in the world of popular culture. Years before this though she was a well-known, respected and respected in legal circles in the legal community for her ability to represent clients in a professional and effective manner. The scope of her practice covers social justice and human rights issues, to representing multinational corporations during discussions and court proceedings on government regulation. Since 2015 her title was barrister one of the types of legal representatives of the British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
