Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her roles on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career as a child. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early at the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions.
